JUNE 18 2010  The new cardiac marker now available at GlysBy: ADIPONECTIN rapid test in serum / plasma or whole blood samples. 

Adiponectin (APN) is a protein hormone that is synthesized by adipocytes (fat cells) that regulates the metabolism of lipids (fat) and glucose. Adiponectin influences the body’s response to insulin and has anti-inflammatory effects on the cells lining the walls of blood vessels. High blood levels of adiponectin are associated with decreased risks of heart attacks. Low levels are found in people with type 2 diabetes and obesity.

Several experimental evidences suggest that adiponectin protects the heart from ischemia - reperfusion. Low levels appear to be associated with early onset of coronary artery disease and presence of atherosclerotic lesions.

 

JUNE 16 2010  GlysBy introduces the first rapid test for early detection of Chlamydia Pneumoniae  IgM antibodies in fingertip blood.

The best choice for an early diagnosis at patient side.

The test identifies the presence of IgM in 10 microliters blood in only 5 to 10 minutes. No instruments, no specific background needed.

Performance: 100% relative sensitivity, 87.5% relative specificity against IFA method.

Storage at room temperature.

 

JUNE 07 2010   GlysBy is proud to announce the Easy Breathe the patented, innovative, invisible nasal filter is now available for sales to public. The nice packaging in a mini box allows user to keep in pocked or in bag and for use upon need.

Reusable up to 24 hours, the device is able to stop microparticles smaller than 3 microns.

Ideal to stop pollens, smog, pet allergens, powders and much more.

FDA approved, the product is not required to be CE certified for sales to public ( pharmacies, GD etc. ) but it will get the CE certification for the use at work within July 2010.

JANUARY  11  2010  Diabetic Neuropathy Tester for early detection of Peripheral Diabetic Neuropathy.

The Diabetic neuropathy tester is an easy to use rapid color test to determine the ability of the skin to “breathe” normally.

The loss of micro-capillary circulation associated with Diabetic Neuropathy may cause the upper level of the skin to thicken and become impermeable, preventing normal transmission of moisture through the stratum corneum.

The tester is an accurate and sensitive moisture detector providing early sign of developing neuropathy.

 

DECEMBER  2  2009 The new A H1N1 immunochromatographic test is now more specific. The antibody has been further purified and is now able to detect ONLY A H1N1 without any cross reaction with H3N2. It can be consequently a valid alternative to PCR. 

The “all-in-one” drug test on saliva for 6 parameters is now available. It can be also read on portable instrument for on-road testing. 

GlysBy launches the MAGNUS line: a list of readers and softwares, customizable, for the reading and reporting of the immunochromatographic tests according to the recent regulations.

4 different reading systems:

         *   Scanner read system.

         *   Magnus basic instrument to be connected with your PC: economic, very flexible,

            GlysBy design, customizable software.

 

         *   Magnus plus: “all-in-one” stand alone instrument for reading and printing result by

             incorporated printer.

 

          *  Magnus pocket: the portable meter, battery operated, with USB key access for

             connections. It displays result on LCD or can be connected to a printer.

 

All readers are available on OEM basis only, and will be customized and adapted to those of our tests that the customer will decide to purchase to make its own system.

 

NOVEMBER 15 2009   GlysBy is glad to announce that the Candida albicans immunochromatographic test on vaginal smear got the CE certification for self test for home use.

The test is available then for sales to public. CE 0483.

The immunochromatographic test specific for A H1N1 human flu is now available, sensitive and specific;  it is tested in each destination country against local H1N1 subtype to grant detection.  It only cross reacts with H3N2.

The test is CE certified.

GlysBy launches the mini- midstream: the new proposal for the HCG test : a midstream plastic device only 11.6 cm length, ideal for automatic dispensers, discrete, very nice design and very convenient price. Cut off 25mIU/ml. CE 0197.

New bladder cancer immunochromatographic test: the BCM/HB test is a combo test detecting Human Factor H Protein, a well recognized marker for bladder cancer, in combination with the presence of Hemoglobin in urine. Sensitivity has been determined by clinical trials and resulted to be up to 91% depending on  stages and grades of the cancer. CE marked.

 

JULY 10 2009 INFLUENZA A and B PANEL, CE marked: immunochromatographic rapid test discriminates between A and B, detects all subtypes of A including H1N1.

Over 76% sensitivity and over 92% specificity when compared to gold standard culture method. Only 2 minutes for testing, only 10 min to read results on NP swab specimen.

APR 14 2009 GlysBy lateral flow READING SYSTEM dedicated to GlysBy Occupational Medicine tests is now CE marked and available for sales with the tests.

The system is composed by a high resolution/ high speed mini- scanner and a dedicated software for the reading of Occupational Medicine multitest.

Special bar codes are applied to the test devices for the recognition of the test and results elaboration.

A report is then printed according to country regulations.

FEB 26 2009 GlysBy  announces the first production of new test device for Helicobacter Pylori Ag test on saliva sample will be in March. Orders can be placed now. We remind our customers the test is CE marked for professional use and CE for self testing is under process. 

FEB 13 2009 GlysBy  announces the first production of the new devices for total cholesterol and HDL cholesterol is now in process. The new devices will have the color scale printed on them and the strip will be located inside the device for easier color comparison. The products are only available to OEM customers.
